Cursive Writing or Not?
Many schools across the country are choosing to drop cursive writing from their curriculum with the adoption of Common Core State Standards. The premise is that cursive is no longer needed because "the wave of the future is typing." Reporter Aisha Khan from WBOC in Salisbury, MD reports that researchers are now saying that students who write in cursive have higher SAT scores.
